Virtual Labs, an initiative by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, provides remote access to real-time laboratories across science and engineering disciplines. Coordinated by IIT Kanpur, it enables students and faculty to perform experiments through a simulated interactive environment using only an internet connection.

The platform strengthens conceptual understanding and practical skills, especially benefiting institutions with limited physical infrastructure by ensuring equitable access to quality education.
